Events & Workshops

Real-life Classes are currently on hold due to the Covid-19 Virus, but I am running a Clay Course on Zoom online though (see below for details), which will involve making, painting on glaze colours and then firing! This will start on October 1st for 9 weeks – book up online, you will then receive a zoom invite for the first session. I will also email you so that you can come and collect clay for the first 2 sessions (or I can deliver for those nearby). There is a small amount of prep to do for the workshop which I can send out ahead of time. More details below. Please email for a weekly breakdown if you want further information.

I'm also running private Birthday zoom workshops –  this can be arranged (with small numbers). Please call or email for further information.

CLAY COURSE starting OCT 1st on ZOOM!

For an approx. age of about 6–10 years (younger kids are welcome to join but will need some grown up help!).

The course will start on Thursday Oct 1st 4-5pm weekly (apart from half term) for 9 weeks. The idea is to make 5 projects, some of which you can keep and some for Christmas presents! These will include a mixture of functional things, animals and figures. We will be making, painting in glaze colours and then the work will be fired! There will be a bit of collecting and dropping off (clay & glaze) or I can deliver to nearby addresses (I'm in SE22 0HG) so please factor this in. Once you have booked up you will get a zoom invite to the first session and then I will email you with details for clay pick up or delivery for first 2 sessions. This course is more expensive than the usual zoom workshops – but includes everything – clay, glazes, firings and zoom workshops, at £110 for 9 weeks.

If you would like more info or weekly breakdown please email!

Please see the 'booking online' tab to book this course.

The Kids' Clay Workshop Pre-school Weekly Workshop – Ages 3-5

Please note there are currently no workshops due to C-Virus

Fridays 10.30–11.30am

St Clements & St Peters Church hall, off Barry Road, SE22 0HW (it's halfway up Barry Rd, up a little gravel road – entrance opposite Silvester Road and beside Graham Court flats. There is often a 'Tennis4kids' sign). There is a small car park, and buses 12 & 197 go this way.

PRICES

Book a CLASS CARD giving you 6 sessions to use up over 10 weeks at £7 per session (£6 for siblings)  – please email to do this. (Class cards have the advantage of being a bit cheaper, still allow flexibility and mean you don't need to remember cash!). Then just book in the sessions you want online or by email.  OR

PAYG which is £7.70 for 1 kid, and £7 for siblings (you can book online or bring cash, dropping in without booking is fine provided there is space). Please note, if you wish to book in more than 2 kids, just email!

Age 2 policy: Siblings aged 2 can come along and join in for £5 (please bring cash, even if you book in the first child online, just add the 2 year old into the Kids name section on booking form). Unfortunately I cannot offer this discount for holiday workshops.

As classes are step-by-step it helps if you can arrive on time, aprons are provided but it is recommended for your child to wear an old 'get dirty' t-shirt or outfit to be on the safe side. There is limited space available due to the nature of the classes, so it's good to book ahead if you can. If possible, please bring along a medium or large sized tupperware box and a plastic bag to take home your work in!

HOLIDAY DATES are pre-book only

If you would like to be added to the Holiday Mailing List please email me, then you will get a notification with holiday dates and updates on bookings. If you are already on the term-time list you will get holiday dates anyhow, so there is no need to be on both lists. Please note that if you haven't signed up since 23rd May then you will need to sign up again due to the GDPR rules (sorry).

Classes are £8
(unfortunately I am unable to offer the Age 2 discount for holiday sessions)

Please also see the map on the Contact page for an idea of locations at a glance.
