Events & Workshops

HURRAH! Real-life Classes are returning (slowly)! Unfortunately, I had planned to do a half-term workshop but have had to cancel this - apologies.  The first REAL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS (since the virus) will be here in the summer, keep you posted.

I'm also still running private Birthday zoom workshops –  this can be arranged (for small numbers, approx. 10 kids). Hopefully these can return to people's houses and venues soon!
Please call or email for further information.

HALF-TERM HOLIDAY WORKSHOP - CANCELLED! SORRY!

10.30–11.30am on Weds 2nd June aimed at ages 7–10 years
(younger kids with grown-up help please)

We are making some pencil pots for Father's Day!

At St Clements & St Peters Church hall, off Barry Road, SE22 0HW (it's halfway up Barry Rd, up a little gravel road – entrance opposite Silvester Road and beside Graham Court flats. There is often a 'Tennis4kids' sign). There is a small car park, and buses 12 & 197 go this way.

HOLIDAY DATES are pre-book only

If you would like to be added to the Holiday Mailing List please email me, then you will get a notification with holiday dates and updates on bookings. If you are already on the term-time list you will get holiday dates anyhow, so there is no need to be on both lists. Please note that if you haven't signed up since 23rd May then you will need to sign up again due to the GDPR rules (sorry).

WORKSHOPS on ZOOM

A great way to have fun, be creative and continue with some sort of social club despite restrictions... ideal for friends (and siblings). Clay & glazes are delivered for each stage (provided you live within a 10 min drive from SE22 0HG).

NEXT MINI CLAY COURSE .... no course currently scheduled

For an approx. age of about 6–10 years (younger kids are welcome to join but will need some grown up help!).

The next mini course will start on Thursday Mar 4th 4.15–5.15pm weekly for 5 weeks. The idea is to make 4 projects during this time, and glaze. These courses include a mixture of functional things, animals and figures. We will be making, painting on glaze colours and then the work will be fired!  I can deliver clay and glazes to nearby addresses (I'm in SE22 0HG) but otherwise you may need to collect so please factor this in (email for more info if unsure). Once you have booked up you will get a zoom invite to the first session and then I will email you with details for clay delivery.

PRICES This course is more expensive than the usual making zoom workshops – because it includes everything – clay, glazes, firings and zoom workshops, at £60 for 5 weeks for 1 Kid, and with a sibling discount of £40.

If you would like more info or weekly breakdown please email!

Please see the 'booking online' tab to book this course.

The Kids' Clay Workshop Pre-school Weekly Workshops – Ages 3-5

Please note there are currently no real-life workshops due to C-Virus

Fridays 10.30–11.30am

St Clements & St Peters Church hall, off Barry Road, SE22 0HW (it's halfway up Barry Rd, up a little gravel road – entrance opposite Silvester Road and beside Graham Court flats. There is often a 'Tennis4kids' sign). There is a small car park, and buses 12 & 197 go this way.

PRICES

Book a CLASS CARD giving you 6 sessions to use up over 10 weeks at £7 per session (£6 for siblings)  – please email to do this. (Class cards have the advantage of being a bit cheaper, still allow flexibility and mean you don't need to remember cash!). Then just book in the sessions you want online or by email.  OR

PAYG which is £7.70 for 1 kid, and £7 for siblings (you can book online or bring cash, dropping in without booking is fine provided there is space). Please note, if you wish to book in more than 2 kids, just email!

Age 2 policy: Siblings aged 2 can come along and join in for £5 (please bring cash, even if you book in the first child online, just add the 2 year old into the Kids name section on booking form). Unfortunately I cannot offer this discount for holiday workshops.

As classes are step-by-step it helps if you can arrive on time, aprons are provided but it is recommended for your child to wear an old 'get dirty' t-shirt or outfit to be on the safe side. There is limited space available due to the nature of the classes, so it's good to book ahead if you can. If possible, please bring along a medium or large sized tupperware box and a plastic bag to take home your work in!

Classes are £8
(unfortunately I am unable to offer the Age 2 discount for holiday sessions)

Please also see the map on the Contact page for an idea of locations at a glance.
